STAND UP Take action pix

On Sat Oct 18 - as part of a weekend of world wide action we also stood up to show our support for the global movement to eradicate poverty.

This was part of a series of events taking part over Oct 17-19, all over the world.

In 2007, 40,000 people in Japan and more than 4 million people all over the world took part.

１０月１７日から3日間、世界の貧困に対して「立ち上がり、行動する」
という意志表示のイベントが世界中で同時開催されています。

２００７年は世界中で4,300万人が立ち上がり、日本でも4万人以上が立ち上がったと思います。

そして、その数でギネス記録に挑戦するというもので、
今年は私たちも参加しました〜！！
